Scalp Evaluation with LXST002
Real-time microscopic analysis of your scalp and hair fiber to map issues accurately and build a clear, personalized plan.
What it is and how it works
Scalp Evaluation with LXST002 is a high-precision, non-invasive assessment using a professional microscope to visualize the scalp and hair shaft in real time. We measure sebum, flaking, inflammation, porosity, density, and signs of miniaturization. With your history and habits (and a 3D analysis when relevant), we identify risks and priorities, then outline a tailored plan: hygiene, actives, in-studio therapies, and a session calendar. Everything is documented with dated photos so we can compare progress and adjust as you go.
Who is it for?
- Recent shedding, thinning, or miniaturization you want to quantify.
- Itch, oiliness, flaking, or sensitivity on the scalp.
- Before starting therapies to set a baseline and priorities.
- Objective follow-up of anti-shedding or post-treatment plans.
When NOT recommended
- Active infection or severe dermatitis in the treatment area.
- Known allergy to components of the serums used.
- Professional assessment required
Uncommon risks: transient redness, sensitivity, mild peeling
Duration and session plan
- Session length: 20–30 min.
- Initial cadence: one baseline evaluation; follow-ups every 4–8 weeks.
- Deliverables: visual report + at-home routine.
- Tracking: dated photos and tailored recommendations.
Before and after our process
Expected results and limitations
You’ll receive a clear visual map of scalp and fiber—sebum, flaking, porosity, density, and miniaturization—plus actionable next steps. Changes appear progressively across follow-ups; we refine technique, cadence, and your home routine to sustain and improve results.
Frequently asked questions about the service
Get concise answers on preparation, comfort, what’s in the report, and next steps. We start with your goals, personalize the exam, interpret findings clearly, and plan actions you can follow.
Ideally yes: dry hair, no oils or heavy styling, and avoid an aggressive wash the same day. It improves readings of sebum, flaking, and porosity.
No. It’s non-invasive and comfortable. We use minimal contact and controlled lighting. If you’re sensitive, we adjust (neutral gel, pauses, temperature).
Dated images, findings by area, levels of sebum/flaking, any miniaturization, and a plan—hygiene, actives (how/when), in-studio options, and follow-up cadence.
As a guide, every 4–8 weeks or after a treatment cycle. That cadence lets us compare before/after and adjust habits and therapies based on response.
No. This is a technical/aesthetic assessment; it doesn’t diagnose diseases. If we see red flags, we’ll refer you to dermatology or trichology.
Absolutely. We’ll review formulas and usage to align your routine with the plan and avoid interference (e.g., exfoliants, active strengths, wash frequency).
