Maintenance & Professional Removal
Keep your extensions safe and discreet: we check bonds, redistribute weight, perform damage-free removal, and refresh your at-home routine.
What it is and how it works
At each visit we assess base, tension, and placement. For tape-ins, we use the proper solvent to lift without pulling, cleanse residue, polish sections, and reapply with fresh adhesive. For microbeads, we open the bead and reposition strands. For keratin bonds, we use professional remover and tools—never tugging. For sew-in/wefts, we inspect row by row, reinforce the track, and resew if needed. We finish with gentle cleansing, an integration trim (if appropriate), and an updated care plan.
Who is it for?
- Anyone wearing tapes, microbeads, keratin bonds, or wefts who wants results to last.
- Fine/sensitive hair needing controlled tension and smart redistribution.
- Clients wishing to reuse wefts/strands when condition allows.
When NOT recommended
- Scalp irritation/infection or open wounds.
- Unstable breakage—we stabilize routine and timing first.
- If you can’t follow minimum aftercare post-service.
Duration and session plan
- Tapes / microbeads: maintenance every 6–8 weeks.
- Sew-in/wefts: every 8–10 weeks.
- Keratin bonds: professional removal and fresh install every 8–12 weeks.
- Visit time: 45–180 min (method/amount dependent).
- Follow-ups: bond checks, redistribution, and routine tweaks.
Before and after our process

Clean, low-profile attachments, restored comfort, and natural movement. After removals, your hair is residue-free with a streamlined home routine. Our goal is to preserve the fiber and the look; final state depends on habits, climate, and heat use.
FAQs about Maintenance & Removal
Answers on frequency, safety, reusability, time/cost, home care, and early-visit signs—always preceded by a technical review.
We don’t recommend it. Self-removal risks breakage and stuck residue. We use the right solvents and tools to protect your hair.
Often yes if they’re in good condition. We retape or replace beads and reposition. Keratin bonds are typically single-use per cycle.
Watch for tightness, visible bonds, matting at the base, slippage, or discomfort. Book a check-in to avoid traction damage.
Prefer color first, then we match and reapply for the most precise blend. We can tone select areas with strand tests if needed.
Gentle brushing 2–3×/day, pH-balanced cleansing, thermal protectant, dry roots before sleeping/tying up, and avoid oils at attachment points.
Depends on method and amount. We provide an estimated time and transparent quote during your consultation.
